Wonderful stylist!

Erica is a fabulous stylist. I have followed her to Lush Life after being her client at Catena's for over a year. I love that she knows all the details of my previous cut, and asks what I liked and disliked about it over the elapsed time. She has a wonderful sense of style, and excellent attention to detail. I love that I can schedule my appointments via text, and that she is understanding if I have to reschedule (although I try to avoid this inconvenience, of course).

Another great aspect of Erica's cuts is her standing offer of complimentary bang trims in between cuts. I've never taken advantage of them, but it's nice to know that if they started to drive me crazy, the option is available.

The salon is beautifully lit with natural light, and her chair is comfy. The conversation is always interesting and light, and the waiting room is relaxing enough to take a nap in.

I've been meaning to review her because of her fabulous work, but nervous that you all might make her less available to me! I'm selfish! But I can't deny consistently good work, and I hope that she is successful in her new business venture at Lush Life.

Very Talented!!!

I started seeing Erica about a year and a half ago after deciding that it was time to do something about my hair. Up to that point, I had been very negligent because I was afraid to try anything new with my hair, even so much as a trim. After a few casual consultations with Erica I decided to let her have stylistic freedom and style my hair as she thought would best flatter me. I have not been disappointed. She introduced me to layers, bangs, and brilliant color. My hair went from ratty, drab and lifeless to vibrant and healthy. People compliment my hair on a regular basis and I am very quick to refer them to Erica St. Clair at Lush Life! Erica has been very sensitive to my concerns and has helped me understand how to take care of my hair in between visits. She instructed me on how to nurture my new color and how to properly use styling products. Erica has really brought me out of my shell in the world of hair styling, and I am very grateful to her for that. The salon is wonderful too! Lush Life is a laid back, clean, and quiet environment where you get to enjoy individual attention and great conversation. Erica is an incredible stylist and a great friend. If you are looking for someone to take care of your hair, Erica is the way to go. I’ve heard great things about Kris too and plan to try out a mani/pedi one of these days!

Best Salon Experience Ever

Love Lush Life, Erica is fantastic she is a great hair dresser and beautiful person. She pays so much attention to detail, and goes out of her way to give you that great experience. She is the type of person that will give you the hair cut you were meant to have, and does not try to talk you into taking the safe route. She is awesome.

Both Erica and Kris are great!

I've followed Erica from Catena's Hair Salon; she is just lovely! She really listens to your concerns, gives great advice on haircare and is all around wonderful. I've never gotten a haircut from her I didn't love. Since Erica was such a dream I decided to go to Kris for my eyebrows and I was not disappointed: they were perfect. Thanks girls!

Erica is a Hair Goddess!

I moved to Austin a couple years ago and was stressing over finding a new hair stylist. My reason for general fear was justified: I have very thick shoulder-length hair that can easily go from straight to 70s-style puff if the layers are done wrong. I also dye my hair auburn, and as any bottle-red-head knows, it is really difficult to get this color right.

I went to Erica for the first time as a walk-in, and she agreed to stay for the afternoon to give me a cut and color. I cannot say enough good things about Erica. Not only did she get the color PERFECT on the first try, but she suggested a slightly different cut for me, and despite my skepticism, it turned out to be the best cut I have ever had. I am still getting compliments from family and friends.

And I have to say that Erica's sense of humor & down-to-earth-ness put a smile on your face each time you visit. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Lush Life to anyone looking for a salon; especially you red-heads who want to avoid other parts of the color spectrum. You won't be disappointed!

Cute, Fun Place!

It took me almost 5 years to find a hairstylist in Austin that I wanted to stick with! Erica St Clair is great! The first time I came to see Erica, I had a bad haircut from another place and needed it fixed. She gave me a detailed description of what she was going to do with it and then got to work. It turned out great and I've been going to Erica ever since, for both cut and color. I will always recommend her to a friend in need of a stylist!

Erica at Lush Life is really good! She helps me choose a cut that looks good and then does it. Even my wife likes my haircuts now!

Great haircuts, great color!

I was in desperate need of a new hair stylist, and by luck I went to Erica. I've now been with her over 2 years and never plan on going anywhere else! She's fun, cool and FANTASTIC at all things hair! She got my hair through its awful "grow out" phase, and I always know when I walk out of Lush Life, I'll be looking great!

I wanted to let you know….I LOVE my hair, the color is amazing and the cut is great.  I never like the way a stylist styles my hair, but you did a great job.  I could not believe everything was so perfect and this was the first time I came to you. Finally I found someone that I can trust to do whatever they see fit for my hair.
